Air Pressure: Optimal Cleaning of a filter is between 90 PSI and 130 PSI. Recommend not to exceed 130PSI. Orifice size is important in providing air velocity for optimal cleaning while at the same time not dumping the air pressure out of the air storage tank. LID: The Lid should remain in contact at with the filters surface at all times. The lid is designed to disallow any lateral movement within the filter opening. The depth of the lid keeps the shaft perpendicular so that it will not come into contact with the filter membrane and compromise its integrity. The lid is designed to fit multiple size filters. Rotating Nozzle: The rotating nozzle needs be 1 to 1 ½” inches away from the filter membrane. The unit is sold with 48” of poly/nylon tubing. The customer should cut tubing to custom fit their particular size of air filter. Arms are easily removed by pulling back on the push connect sleeve and pulling out. When replacing arms, push arms in by turning and pushing them in until fully locked in place. Give them a good tug to ensure they have been properly set prior to using. This is a very important step. Arms that have not been pushed in correctly have a chance of blowing out while in motion. The tool is designed to clean your filter under one minute. A engine running with a clean filter will cut your fuel expense up to 5 gallons per hour. Clean filter = happy engine. Happy engine = fuel savings.
